The gardens at Stonepine were designed by Helen Crocker Russell, the original owner and they were so impressive that she was recognized with California Horticultural Society’s Garden of the Year Award. As you tour through the twelve formal gardens surrounding Chateau Noel, you will appreciate the skill and creativity they present as a bouquet of Western variety. You experience gardens ranging from sculpted animal shapes (topiary), to a rose garden, to a vegetable and fruit garden, to an 18th century Georgian landscape of manicured hedges and ordered flora. Garden tours are available to in-house guests 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Our specially trained horses are responsive to your direction and are well matched to even the least experienced of riders. Additional activities at the Center include horseshoes, volleyball, and shuffleboard. You might want to join your friends and family for some fun at “The Loft” party room. It’s above the main barn. A pool table, ping-pong, foosball, darts, jukebox, poker table and a western bar make this a popular place to unwind.
