A World All Your Own
Where refined luxury meets natural beauty
Stonepine is tucked away in California’s gorgeous Carmel Valley. Among over 400 secluded acres of gently rolling hills studded with oaks, you can find formal gardens, world-class accommodations, a working horse ranch, miles of private trails—and Chateau Noel, our century-old Tuscan villa.
Stroll along the grounds at Stonepine and soak it all in—the timeless feel of the architecture, the ease with which refined elegance and rustic comfort are balanced. You might go for a stroll in the olive groves, or revel in an al fresco feast with your closest friends. Or maybe you’ll just soak up the golden light.
A Taste of
Tuscany
in California
Spend enough time spirited away in the hills of Monterey County, and you just might forget you’re in California. This is a part of the world where grapes grow fat on the vine, where olives are grown with such expertise you can practically taste the history in their oil.
Pass through the gates and onto the estate, and you enter a place like no other—no passport required.
A Rich
Equine History
People have been raising, training, and caring for horses at Stonepine for over 90 years. We’ve hosted Kentucky Derby winners, show horses, and international polo challenges—and even a few equine movie stars.
Stonepine’s original owner, Henry Potter Russell, was a passionate lover of horses, and it’s our mission to continue his good work into the future. With a full-service boarding and riding center, including facilities for dressage, show jumping, western comfort, and racing, we offer a caring, comfortable home for horses in a beautiful environment.
